Every
Solstice and Equinox will find us on the magic carpet
of exploration, seeking to expand our awareness at the
very moments Mother Earth is shifting and changing. These
are the moments of ritual and celebration, powerful times
of expansion and contraction for all things physical and
metaphysical.
The
newsletter title should be a clue to where we’re
going; the Alchemist’s obsession and job description
in medieval times was to change lead into gold using fire,
earth, air, water and mysticism. As a modern Alchemist
we use the metaphor of alchemy (lead to gold) to change
problems into solutions, ignorance into knowledge, poverty
into prosperity, dullness into genius, and fear into courage.
Wizards do it. Goddess do it. Unicorns were reported to
be adept at all of the above. And you and I can change
lead into gold too.
I’ll provide cushions against the bumps, of course,
because there will be bumps along the way. Bumps, as in...
consciousness raising ideas, bursting the bubble of long
held limited thinking, principles of change and (my personal
favorite) shining the light of truth on dogma and deceit.
My wish is that you remain my companions along this journey
of exploration. Together we will grow and change, evolve
and prosper. In peace.
Please be sure to write me with all your comments, insights
and subjects you wish to explore. Thank you for joining
me. And now....we’re away!

The ancient peoples celebrated this day in gratitude for the
return of the warmth of the sun and fertile fields.
They had survived another winter and welcomed the renewal of
life - resurrection. |
Their
ritual altars contained seashells, white candles and snowdrops
as gratitude offerings to the Universe (you can also add natural
pearls as the Gemstone symbol of innocence and purity—divine
purpose). Goddesses and Heroines walked the labyrinth as a spiritual
benediction while Heroes and Gods went on a hunt to supply the
feast. It’s a beautiful and empowering feeling to welcome
personal resurrection into new phases of being as you celebrate
this Mother Earth milestone.
The most beautiful stones have been tossed by the wind and washed
by the waters and polished to brilliance by life’s strongest
storms.

This gorgeous greenish-blue gemstone, Turquoise, means
different things to different cultures, but it is always healing
and nurturing
because it is a child of Mother Earth.
The myth I’ve responded to most about Turquoise, and which
most women are drawn to, is that Turquoise energizes leadership
abilities. Not simply career
leadership skills, which are helpful, but the insight and vision
to lead
your life the way it is meant to be,
not what others wish or insist that it be, but following your
personal Life Purpose. |
Turquoise
empowers LIFE Leadership and is amazing in it’s energetic
boost to self esteem, confidence, determination and courage.
I am determined to remind women that we were the Leaders in
ancient cultures, teachers and healers, until the threats of
murder and torture forced us underground to polish our skills
as wisdom keepers.
Now, in this Age of Aquarius, the time has come to return our
Leadership
to the global theater. I wear Turquoise most of the time and
love the energy it surrounds me with; it also draws forth many
ancient story ideas
that swim within my feminine DNA.
You will feel the Power of the Ages, as I do, as turquoise rests
near your throat chakra or heart chakra or at the wrist pulse
points. As you
combine Turquoise with other gemstones and symbols (coral for
passion and enthusiasm; amethyst for spiritual guidance) you
will come to rule
the world! As you should!
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest
fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light,
not our darkness that most frightens us.

Journaling is a magical practice. It will draw forth your creative,
brilliant, successful, prosperous self.
And I’m being conservative when I say that!
How else can you materialize the invisible into the visible?
Only wizards are supposed to perform that kind of magic. Wizards
and you can be very magical. |
As
you journal on cardboard, leather, tissue paper, black or colored
ink on parchment or rag paper, you take an invisible thought
and you make it visible by writing it in your journal. AbraKaDabra!
Magic!
As you write the idea, the vision, the wish, the dream, you
capture its essential essence and make it your own. As you make
it visible it is available for reflection whenever you choose,
not lost in the ethers somewhere, invisible, beyond your access.
Everything you write will be manifested.
The catch is.....you must journal on a daily basis. Journaling
once a week or every now and then is nice, and while it can
be inspiring at times, it is not a magical tool when used infrequently.
When you journal everyday, the written word becomes your wand
for spiritual growth. When you invite the messages from your
soul and ancient wisdom within to come out and play in your
journal, you will be transformed. BUT....you must commit to
a daily dance with the wise feminine DNA and genius that awaits
your call. Wisdom will not show up uninvited. It’s a noble
guest, unwilling to share its insights with shallow or frivolous
pursuits.
I journal every day. I am convinced that is why I am creative,
energetic, healthy and content. Try it. You will be convinced.
"Bone
by bone, hair by hair, Wild Woman comes back. Through night
dreams, through events half understood and half remembered,
she comes back. Wild Woman comes to tell her story."

It is our personal responsibility to draw whatever we want into
our life by our thinking.
A pilgrimage is a perfect way to make a change because it typically
is a total immersion in an unfamiliar place. That’s why
going to Bali or Hawaii is so restful—you’re immersed
in beauty and unfamiliar surroundings and can’t go to
your everydayness.
The Wealth Pilgrimage is total immersion in thinking in a new
and unfamiliar way about your finances. |
Here
is the biggest secret of all: you can not depend on anyone else
to bring your wealth or your health to you. It’s up to
you.
You cannot dwell on poverty and get prosperity; you can’t
plant corn and get tomatoes. Your thoughts become your children—they
are born through you and become what you nurture.
It is your responsibility to be certain they are healthy, beautiful
and productive. I wrote the 40 Day Wealth Pilgrimage to help
myself (and you) dwell on thoughts that will draw prosperity
to you and from you.
This pilgrimage works.
You can find the Pilgrimage as a downloadable booklet on my
website. Money will appear from unexpected places and every
kind of financial blessing will come your way.
Note: As
my gift to you to increase your prosperity immediately here

it. This is such an important part of our empowerment that we’ll
explore wealth and goddesses in every issue of the alchemist. |

The Wealth Pilgrimage Clutch. Includes Turquoise, Rose Quartz,
Jade, Citrine, Crystal and Sodalite. Stones that energize leadership,
love and compassion, wealth, intuition, clarity and self expression.
These gems have been set in the moonlight and sunlight for 24
hours to bask in Mother Earth’s radiance. |

Are
you at the crossroads?
Have no idea which way to turn?
Wish you could find a mentor to
help you use past, present and
future experiences and knowledge
to proceed?
Well, I know just the Goddess: Hecate (pronounced
HECK-Ah-Tay)! She is barely known in mythology
but she is the Midwife—aiding in bringing new thoughts,
new answers, fresh ideas, unborn roles, and unformed plans into
fruition. |
She
is the Goddess at the Crossroads. She stands at significant
forks in the road of your personal pathway and helps point out
obvious and subtle solutions or directions for your unique purpose
and challenges.
Hecate reminds you to call upon your intuitive and psychic wisdom
from past, present and future memories and summon the valor
in your female DNA.
Hecate is also known as Queen of the Night.
The moon is the inspirational symbol for women—do not
be afraid to call
on Hecate to stand with you under the light of the moon and
be renewed and filled with awe and wonder.
Remember—our Crossroads are turning points—power
points on your life journey. Don’t squander the Crossroad
gifts and opportunities by fearing them. Embrace them and thrive!

woman is like a tea bag—you don’t know how strong
she is until you put her in hot water."

I’ve written 5 books, one a bestseller on Amazon.com
I’ve been married 3 times, once to an abuser, once to
a savior and now to
my Soulmate, John, for 30 years. John and I have restored 8
fixer-upper houses, and live in one we can’t leave—a
Craftsman in Los Angeles built
in 1910. I have 2 wonderful children (Karen and Stephen) and
3 great grandchildren (Stephanie, RJ and Matt).

I’m following my genealogy back to Ireland, Germany and
France. I meditate, journal and chant daily. And I feel like
I’m just getting started!
But wait....think about it; you’ll see that you also wear
many hats.
Why? Because women are fabulous multi-taskers!
