Each of these speak to us in our physical and our metaphysical
realities—legends and myths resonate with every cell,
molecule, and chakra of our conscious body and our subconscious
awareness. We are more than our bodies. That’s why myths,
legends, and symbols are so important to our spiritual evolution
and greatly impact our physical happiness.
You are drawn to the myth, legend or symbol that captures
your soul’s attention and reminds you of your Life Purpose.
There is a reason for your fascination with King Arthur
or goddesses or dragons or knights or horses. Myths such as
the Arthurian legends are not just improbable stories—they
are real, cellular influences. The Wizard, Merlin not real?
Please!
The verbal myth that you hear with your physical ears or a picture
that you see with your physical eyes is a direct hot link to
that metaphysical quality that you must explore and embrace.
When you ignore, ridicule or denigrate the mythical, legendary
or symbolic part of you, your life journey is hindered and you
are thwarted in most endeavors.
Call out to your myths and symbols whether they involve wizards,
serpents, goddesses, the Rosetta Stone, elephants, four leaf
clovers, the moon, stars or Mother Earth. Each has a quality
that has a unique personal meaning to you. Check out my Life
Map counseling which guides you in understanding and calling
forth your personal myths and symbols. Explore the metaphysical
interpretations in most of my books. Find out a little more
about Goddesses at this Goddess page

of the Stones which will spark new discoveries about who
you are meant to be.

You Are.

Hi, Our group is redoing our web site, but as soon as we can,
I'd like to link to yours and yours to us. We are Crones Counsel,
Inc. a non-profit organization for women. We meet annually at
a national gathering - usually around 200 women from all over
the US and many other contries. This year the gathering is in
Boulder, CO but next year it is at Asilomar, a conference center
near Monterey,CA. We meet in Sept. or Oct. each year, usually
in a different state. We share our stories every day, have incredible
workshops, evening programs - honoring the elders, opening and
closing ceremonies, talent night - and also meet in small groups
for more storytelling. And of course drumming each night after
the evening event. Ages run from 90s to 30s.
I love your website and especially the newsletter. I will be
sharing the newsletter with my local Crone circle. Thanks for
all you do.

Dear Elaine,
Thanks so much for writing.
I have been to your website a few times and each time I visit,
discover something new and delightful to appreciate. This time
I looked at all your exquisite jewelry.
You are a woman of many talents and it would be an honor to
have you as part of our editorial team. I love the genre of
books you write and am sure that anything you would like to
contribute would be very well received.
There is no such thing as a chance encounter I have come to
realize. All the places you write about my father has also visited
and last year he published a book called "Honoring the
Stone." Your site reminds me of his journeys and I feel
right at home. He also studies ancient Goddesses and is going
to Ireland to further his studies of Queen Maeve and The Goddess
Macha.
We are meant to work together in some way. Since we are in the
preliminary stages of development for the magazine, I am very
open to your ideas. In the magazine I envision covering life,
balance, work, relationships, technology, travel, and of course
women.
The first issue will feature Linda Pereira of Portugal as the
cover story. She is what I call a Destination Diva and is the
International Liaison for WECAI (and one of the reasons WECAI
exists). I would also like to highlight at least half a dozen
(or more) other women in this and all issues. The cover story
will probably be a 2 page spread with pictures and the others
will be a half or full page with a head shot or active picture
of the woman being highlighted. Not sure if these will be done
interview style or more as a bio-sketch of the individual.
You are the third woman to respond and the other two don't have
your quite as diverse a background as you have, so I am open
to learning what you would be interested in pursuing.
The magazine is going to start as a quarterly publication as
that's all I have time for - however, it could end up being
published more (or less) frequently, depending on the amount
of work involved and response we receive. I will create outline
for editorial positions as interest is shown.
Looking forward to hearing from you and so appreciate your response.
Thanks so much!
Wishing you a wonderful day... and then some.

Dear Dr. Elaine,
Happy Summer! It has been quite a while since I have written.
To refresh, I am the Catholic searching for the Goddess, I sent
you 2 emails at the beginning of the year. I hope you remember,
but I completely understand if you don't.
I just wanted to say hello. I am in the midst of many books,
searching away for answers. I am almost finished with Let Your
Goddess Grow by Charlene Proctor. It is an excellent book. She
lives in my area, Michigan! Next on my list is When God was
a Woman by Merlin Stone. I truly enjoyed Legends of the Stones,
and I am waiting for the arrival of Prodigal Daughter.
Your newsletters are absolutely beautiful. I have passed them
on to my sister and to friends in need of inspiration. And the
pictures of your trip were magical. I especially enjoyed the
Fairy Glen.
I still have many questions. I think that I am searching so
hard for the Goddess that I am missing her. Does that make sense?
And I still carry around the Catholic guilt. How do you rid
yourself of that? It is especially hard when my Mom knows of
my searching and disapproves. I know that I am a grown woman,
but her diappointment at my questioning the faith I was brought
up with can be hard to bear. I have hopes that she will understand
sometime. How do you deal with those that don't understand?
Aside from my questions, I also wanted to say thank you. You
are an inspiration to me. I see so many qualities in you that
I hope to have one day, mostly a comfortableness in who you
are. I am getting there. I apologize for my ramblings. I tend
to get carried away! I will
continue to search for answers, as I am a questioner myself.
I hope that you are well.
You a wise womyn and I thank you for your reading this. I appreciate
any thoughts you may have or direction in which you can point
me. Have a wonderful day! Thank you again.
Smiles & Blessings to you.
